It's that time of the year when Guild Wars 2 players have the chance to take part in the Dragon Bash event. Adventurers are invited to Hoelbrak for another edition of the festival. They will take part in games that challenge their power, speed, and also singing, drinking, and eating abilities.
You can easily join the celebration by using the event invitation. Check your mail for the announcement! You will find an invitation that takes you to Hoelbrak in a jiffy. Don't worry if you lose the invitation. Just go to Sarettokk and you'll get a new one. This NPC is in Lion's Arch. The Dragon Bash honors the efforts against the Elder Dragons. Here are the activities that you can complete during the event.
Step into the Dragon Arena to fight dragons. Don't worry, you won't be facing the real creatures. The enemies are holograms but don't count on this to make the fight easier. If you feel like you are up for a more challenging fight, check out the Dragon Arena Survival activity. Dragons come in all shapes and sizes, including pinatas. Take part in Pinata Bashing and show these creatures who they're messing with.
The Hologram Stampede is another event activity. This time you will take the fight outside Hoelbrak where you fight many dangerous enemies. Do you like racing? If the answer is yes, then you're in for a treat. The Dragon Bash Rally is a race around Hoelbrak. There's one more racing activity. This is your chance to take part in a Moa Race.
Make your guild more festive during this time of the year with the new Dragon Bash guild adornments. Look for the Dragon Bash merchant and see what this NPC has to sell. You can get the Commemorative Dragon Pinate home instance node from it. The merchant has more in store for you. If you get a Holographic weapon, go to the merchant and get the alternate Imbued Holographic version. This merchant also sells last year's reward, the Holographic Dragon Helm.
Should you manage to complete all the event-related achievements and obtain the Dragon Bash meta-achievement, you will get the Holographic Dragon Shoulders as a reward. Don't forget about the Dragonfire Chests if you want more rewards. They have the chance to contain a Dark Monarch Skyscale Skin and many other items such as Black Lion Statuettes. Dragon Bash begins on June 23rd and ends on July 14th.
